Ten Cam Sites, and What Each One Is Best At

Ranking cam sites in order is only useful if you want the same thing as whoever wrote the list. Somebody who wants to watch for an hour without paying anything needs a different platform from somebody who has already decided to spend forty dollars tonight, and a straight one-to-ten ordering hides that.

So this is the other list. Ten platforms, the one job each does better than the other nine, and what I can actually show about the price. My ranking in order is on the front page.

Every figure below comes out of the platform files this site is built on, which means each one carries a date and, where nobody has opened the checkout, says so. The table is the whole page in one screen.

Jerkmate and Streamate are the same rooms behind different logos, so two of these rows put you in front of one roster. The evidence is here.

Watching without paying anything: Chaturbate

Free chat here is unmetered. No card on the account, no timer, no preview that cuts out after ninety seconds. You open a room and watch it.

The trade is that the rooms run on tips, so an evening costs what you decide it costs. Not the same as being cheap. Chaturbate publishes a private band of 6 to 150 tokens a minute, the widest spread of any platform on this page, and both ends of it are real. Tokens themselves run $0.0800 to $0.1099 depending on which of the three card tiers you buy, so the same minute is somewhere between 48 cents and $16.48. That range is the honest answer, and the reason I will not put a single dollars-per-minute figure on this platform.

Nobody has counted its rooms, including me.

A private that looks produced: LiveJasmin

The difference is lighting. Rooms here are framed and lit like a studio set rather than a webcam propped on a shelf, and if that matters to you it matters within about four seconds of arriving. Trading since 2001, and it takes more payment methods than anything else on this page. Nine of them, including bank transfer and Paysafecard.

Two things against it. A credit costs $1.25 to $1.56 on a card, well above the one-to-one impression the credit counts give, and paying with crypto costs more again. And the ladder starts at $27.99 with no rung that divides into a round budget, so money gets stranded in the account every time. The contested price set this page used to warn about is on the corrections page.

The first purchase: Stripchat

Its prices are one of nineteen sets on this site read off the platform’s own logged-in checkout rather than off somebody else’s page about it, and it was the first. Doing that changed the numbers. Three package tiers that seven separate sources agreed on turned out not to exist at any price, and the advertised welcome offer was not the one the checkout applies.

What it does apply is 25% off the first purchase, automatically. The volume ladder across all four card tiers is worth 20% end to end, so a single discount at the door beats every bulk decision above it. If you are going to spend once, spend it here.

Not doing token arithmetic: Jerkmate

Every cam site invents a currency so you cannot compare prices. Jerkmate invents one and then pegs it to the dollar. One Gold is one dollar, so the number on the room tile is the number on your card. None of that makes it cheap, and I want to be exact about what it is worth. Removing the arithmetic removes the trick, not the cost. I hold no per-minute figure for Jerkmate at all, because the rate is set by the performer and nobody has sampled the rooms. So the peg is the strongest thing I can show you here, and a fact about the wallet rather than about the price.

Voyeur houses: CamSoda

The voyeur houses are a thing nothing else runs at this scale, and free public chat is real and unrestricted. It takes cards, PayPal, bank transfer, gift cards and an unusually long list of cryptocurrencies.

The ladder is also the best-behaved on this page. Five tiers on crypto, every step cheaper than the last on every rail, no reversals, from $0.1398 a token at the card and crypto entry tier down to $0.0800. Then the part the cheap-token story leaves out. The published private band is 60 to 120 tokens a minute, so at the best tier that is $4.80 to $9.60 a minute and at the entry tier $8.39 to $16.78. Cheap tokens and a cheap minute are different claims and this platform only makes the first.

A roster you have not already seen: BongaCams

If every platform is starting to show you the same faces, this is the fix. The European and Russian-speaking roster is large and genuinely distinct from the American sites.

Its tokens are the cheapest per unit of anything here, from $0.0746 down to $0.0554 across six card tiers, and that number means less than it looks like. A BongaCams token and a Chaturbate token buy different amounts of a different thing, and this page does not rank on price for exactly that reason. The published private band is 20 to 100 tokens a minute. How much happens in that free layer is a different question, and not one I have measured.

No wallet at all: Streamate

Streamate bills per minute in dollars. No token, no credit, no leftover balance, nothing to expire. You are quoted a rate before the show starts and charged for the minutes you use, and the published range is $3.99 to $8.99: the most honest billing model on this page, and the only row in the table above where the price column needed no translation. Trading since 1996. I have not verified whether it has free chat, so if watching without spending is the plan, start somewhere else on this list.

Trans, couples and men: CAM4

Running since 2007, with free public chat and a roster where trans performers, couples and men are equal categories rather than filter tabs, which almost nothing else at this size does. Crypto is its own rail with no transaction fee, and it is still dearer per token than a card.

It also adds $2.00 to every card and PayPal purchase, and that fee shapes the whole ladder. On the card rail the 50-token pack costs $11.95 with it, or $0.239 a token, against $0.175 at 1,000 tokens, so the smallest pack costs 37% more per token than the largest. Amateur rather than studio: MyDirtyHobby

Creator-led German site where the live cams sit alongside fan clubs and video sales, and the people on it are running their own thing rather than working a studio shift. If LiveJasmin’s polish is exactly what you do not want, this is the far end from it.

It is the only platform on this page confirmed to have no free chat. You pay from the first minute. It bills in euros, at a flat €0.0125 per DirtyCent across all four tiers, which means buying the biggest pack saves you nothing at all. None of the dollar figures elsewhere on this page reach it, because I do not convert currencies to make a table look complete.

A structured VIP private: Flirt4Free

Well-produced private shows with a real multi-tier VIP structure behind them, from a platform trading since 1996 with a stable vetted roster. If you want the show to feel organised rather than improvised, this is the one on this page that is built for it.

It is among the dearer options once a private starts. The published band is 30 to 60 credits a minute, so the spread on the room is double. What a standing credit costs is not on file: the six-tier ladder this page used to quote is on the corrections page, and the only packs recorded since are first-purchase offers, 240 credits for $20 among them. The room is the decision.

What this list does not tell you

One of these ten has a “free chat” cell I have never checked: Streamate. An earlier version of this page said two of the ten charge from the first minute. One does, MyDirtyHobby, and the free-chat cells on BongaCams and Streamate were asserted rather than researched. Writing an unchecked field as a fact is the failure this site is built to make hard, so it is worth saying plainly rather than quietly correcting. BongaCams and Flirt4Free have since been read off the platforms’ own front pages, on 2 September 2026, and both have free chat. Streamate is the one still open, because its browse grid renders logged out and its rooms do not, which is where the question actually lives.

Nine of the ten also have no measured private rate. Every band quoted above is what the platform publishes about itself, not a median I have counted across rooms, and the two are different claims. What I have verified, field by field, is on the data page, and the figures I have taken back are on the corrections page.
