CamSoda Review: Cheap Tokens, Costly Minutes

Not in the minutes calculator. Performers on CamSoda set their own private rate, and the rooms advertise anywhere between 60 and 120 tokens a minute. That is a 2-fold spread, so the midpoint would be the useful number and it is the one I do not have: I have not counted enough rooms to publish a median, so I will not put a dollars-per-minute figure on it.

What would close it: One sitting with the room grid open, counting where inside 60 to 120 the rooms actually sit.

What I have verified

Where it wins and where it does not

Good

  • Consistently the cheapest entry point of the big token sites
  • Ships genuinely new features first: interactive toys, VR, novelty events
  • Free chat is unrestricted

Not good

  • Roster is smaller than Chaturbate or Stripchat outside peak hours
  • Site pushes upsell interstitials harder than its rivals

Every CamSoda top-up tier is priced per token on the package comparison.

The cheapest way into CamSoda is the lowest entry price of any big token site, and it buys somewhere between fifty seconds and two minutes of a private show.

Both halves of that are true, and there lies the problem. This platform has the best-behaved token ladder on the site and one of the most expensive private rates on it, and almost nobody writing about it mentions the second part, including me, until now. The score is 8.2. The site is genuinely good. The pricing needs reading carefully, and this page is mostly about why.

Voyeur houses and booked pornstars

The voyeur houses are the thing it has that others do not. Real houses with cameras running around the clock, which CamSoda got through the privacy and legal requirements when most platforms did not bother trying. Whether you want it is a matter of taste; that it exists nowhere else at this scale is not.

The other genuine differentiator is pornstar bookings. Tori Black, Brandi Love, Nikki Benz and Dani Daniels were all on the platform when I was using it, and CamSoda schedules them as events rather than hoping they show up. If a specific performer is why you are here, this is the platform built for that.

Free public chat is real and unrestricted, and the one CamSoda fact confirmed at a source rather than inherited. You can watch and type without a card on the account. Female, male, couple and trans are all present. Six languages, thin next to CAM4’s forty-four.

The ads were the worst thing about it in 2022 and I said so at the time. Too many, mostly on the right sidebar, and several going somewhere you do not want to be. A $19.95 monthly membership removes them. I have opinions about that business model.

I have not spent an evening in these rooms since 2022. The paragraphs above are four years old and I am not going to pretend otherwise.

The cleanest ladder here, and the sting after it

The ladder is the cleanest here. Five tiers, every step cheaper than the last, no reversals and no traps:

Each step drops the unit price by 8 to 12%, and the top tier is 50% cheaper per token than the bottom one. A volume discount is supposed to look like that, and it is worth saying plainly because two of the four platforms I have rewritten this week do not manage it. CAM4’s ladder runs backwards and MyFreeCams has a rung that buys nothing.

Now the part the cheap-token story leaves out. A private on CamSoda is set by the performer, and the published band is 60 to 120 tokens a minute. Multiply it out:

  • At the best tier, $0.0800 a token: $4.80 to $9.60 a minute.
  • At the entry tier, $0.1200 a token: $7.20 to $14.40 a minute. None of that makes it a cheap platform. It is a platform with cheap tokens, a different claim, and the gap between the two is the whole reason this site prices things in minutes rather than in wallet units. A hundred tokens for $12 sounds like an easy first purchase, and the multiplication above is what it actually buys.

So the buying advice inverts. On most token sites the question is which rung to buy. Here the ladder is well behaved enough that the rung barely matters, because the honest saving from bulk is real but bounded, and the question that actually decides your evening is which room you open. A 60-token room and a 120-token room differ by more than the entire top-to-bottom range of the ladder.

Spy is reported as a 20 to 60 token band rather than a rate, so I have no single figure for it. Cam2cam carries a surcharge that is not published.

Payment support is the broadest of the token sites: cards, PayPal, bank transfer and an unusually long list of cryptocurrencies.

A note on my own old table. This page carried seven tiers between 2022 and today, read with an account open, and they are not the five above. They have been superseded by a 2026 reading of the live checkout, and the newer reading wins even though the older one has my name on it. Four years is four years. One row of that old table also cannot have been right. It listed 300 tokens for $14.99, or $0.05 a token, less than half the best price on any rung above or below it. I have no way to tell now whether that was a genuine promotional tier or a transcription error, so it is recorded rather than resolved.

The median room, and the checkout

The private rate. The 60–120 band is published and the performer sets the number inside it, so what is missing is the median across rooms, and one sitting with the grid open would settle it. This is the single job that would move CamSoda into the minutes calculator, and it sits at the top of this platform’s list.

The checkout. The ladder above was read at CamSoda’s live checkout in May 2026 by the source this dataset imports from, not by me, and bonus units are recorded as zero because that source does not track them separately. Where a bundle bonus exists, these tiers understate what your money buys.

The spy rate: a band, not a figure. The cam2cam surcharge, unpublished. The founding year, taken from a company registry rather than from CamSoda.

The 2022 texture above, all of it.

The claim I took back

Until 6 August 2026 this page said, in my own words:

the fact that some shows start from 6 tokens per minute is definitely something to consider as a big thumb up

Nothing on file supports 6 tokens a minute for anything on this platform. The private band is 60 to 120, ten to twenty times that, and the cheapest metered thing recorded anywhere here is spy, at 20 to 60.

It is the most damaging figure I have found in my own archive so far, and not because it is the furthest out. That is because of the job it was doing. It was the evidence for the sentence in front of it, which told the reader CamSoda is markedly cheaper than its rivals. Cheap tokens were used to imply cheap shows, and those are the two things this entire site exists to keep apart.

What I can support is above: CamSoda’s tokens genuinely are the cheapest entry point of the big token sites, and a CamSoda private genuinely does cost $4.80 to $14.40 a minute. Both, in the same paragraph, is the only honest way to write it.

Whether a 6-token room existed in 2022 I cannot tell you, and no sample taken in 2026 can answer it. A room sample now would settle what the platform charges today. It is on corrections, where everything I have taken back goes, alongside the thing that would settle it.

A pornstar, a voyeur house, or a small first purchase

Buy here if you came for a specific pornstar or for the voyeur houses. Both are real, both are scheduled rather than accidental, and neither has a serious competitor at this size.

Buy here if you want a small first purchase. The ladder does not punish you much for staying small. Not true everywhere. Just do the multiplication above first, so the number of minutes is not a surprise.

Look elsewhere if you need the cost before you open the room. The 60-to-120 band is a 2x spread, and the performer’s decision. MyFreeCams charges a flat 60 tokens a minute in every room, a published number that does not move. Streamate bills in dollars per minute with no wallet at all.

Give it a miss if the ads would ruin it for you and you do not want to pay $19.95 a month to remove them. That was my main complaint in 2022 and nothing I hold says it has changed.

CamSoda's package tiers are priced per token on the package comparison page. Its per-minute rate is not verified yet, so here is what is still missing.
